About

Anveshnam

My name is Anjali Rai a PhD Research Scholar and a gold medalist in post-graduation in Yoga Philosophy. Originally a medico student, I followed my heart's calling, embracing the life of a dedicated yoga practitioner. The journey has brought me to places I never imagined.
Recently featured on Josh Talks, I was honoured to receive an award from the Ministry of AYUSH for teaching yoga to 14,000 people in Karnataka. I also serve as a Guest Lecturer at NIT Rourkela, one of India's most prestigious institutes. In addition to my academic roles, I have proudly represented India in the International Yoga Championships, winning medals, and have achieved similar success at the National level, representing various states.
Yoga has profoundly transformed my life, instilling confidence and a sense of vitality. My unshakeable perseverance is deeply rooted in the teachings of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. I also find inspiration in studying other sacred texts like the Shiv Purana and Shiv Samhita, which anchor me in the authentic, deeper meaning of yoga—a practice that extends beyond the mat.
I am the founder of Anveshnam, a platform where I share my knowledge, thoughts, and experiences. Here, I explore what truly matters in yoga: it’s not just about asanas and pranayama, but about self-discovery and inner growth. This is the essence of Anveshnam, which means 'the search within.'
